Desh 17 June 2022 issue focuses on the miasma of insularity surrounding Bengali culture. Bengalis, once revered for their tolerance, cosmopolitanism, creativity and intellectual brilliance have now wrapped themselves in a cocoon of parochialism, looking inwards.
